In the wee hours of the morning, while the grass was still covered in dew, we head out of our sweet home and headed to the airport.
We got to the airport, went through security, and got to our gate.
(I got my Starbucks btw😉)
TIP FOR DIARY FREE READERS: Starbuck’s soy Frappuccinos are incredible. 🙌🏻
I. Love. Flying.
There’s just something really humbling and peaceful about seeing the world from afar.
Takeoff was a little rough for me.
I hadn’t eaten anything yet (which I believe was the reason for my discomfort) but the g-force from the take off made me incredibly dizzy.
For a good 20 minutes I felt like I was about to pass out.
I wish I knew more of the science behind it all, but maybe it was the pressure change or just the craziness of the day.
(Feel free to educate me below if you know the science of it all😉)
This was my favorite view.
It looked like nothing but clouds below us, and being able to see the where the earths atmosphere began was incredible. Kind of want to be an astronaut now.
We landed safely and got our rental car.
STORYTIME: There was a super nice guy who helped us find the car rental place, and got onto the same transportation bus as us. Because he sat all the way in the back though, he was last off the bus. When he went to get his back he told the worker
“where’s my bag?”
“What do you mean? This is your bag?”, replied the man.
“No… the looks the same but that isn’t mine…”
Someone took his by mistake and walked away completely unaware that they were walking away with someone else’s clothes.
I do hope that the man got his bag back.
